Financial Manager at DCSL Corporate Services Limited

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting, finance and leadership roles within the oil and gas engineering services industry.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in SAGE X3 would be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards, industry-specific financial practices, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Job Description

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports and statements, in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure the company's adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure a smooth audit process.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data through meticulous reconciliation and validation processes.
• Analyse and monitor costs related to projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
• Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• dentify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the company’s tax position.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Partner closely with Engineering leadership, project managers, and other finance team members to provide financial guidance and support operational activities.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and investors.
