    HR Business Partner

    PURPOSE

    To strategically partner with the portfolio/business, implementing initiatives that will boost the performance of the business unit and delivering comprehensive HR services. 

    THE JOB

    • Collaborate with business unit leaders to achieve people and organization strategy through the implementation of the workforce planning process and talent management framework in the business units.
    • Provide HR advisory services to employees in assigned business units with respect to HR transactional and specialist services.
    • Provide first line HR support and advice on organisation design and development issues.
    • Ensure optimal manning levels in assigned BU, whilst keeping a close watch on headcount efficiency, maintain and report agreed productivity metrics.
    • Work closely with other HR functions as it relates to assigned business units to drive HR global agenda and improve overall HR service delivery.
    • Facilitate annual objective setting process and ensure effective performance management process.
    • Monitor all L&D interventions to close identified competency gaps.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues. 
    • Possess interpersonal and stakeholders’ management abilities.
    • Be proficient with Microsoft office suite or related HRIS software.

    QUALIFICATION

    • First degree in any course.
    • Professional membership with CIPM.

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least 5 years in a similar role.
    • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics in the capacity of HRBP in similar industry.
    • Expertise in organizational leadership, Performance evaluation will be an added advantage.

    Electrician - Niger Mills Calabar

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To support operational efficiency and achievement of the business objectives by carrying out repair and preventive maintenance on assigned machines and locations.

    THE JOB

    • Promptly attend to any electrical faults on production lines with minimum time required.
    • Periodically carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment.
    • Carry out analysis of all automation systems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot and replace Faulty electrical components of machines such as frequency drives, motors programmable logic controllers, etc.
    • Actively participate in installation and commissioning of equipment, modification and calibration as the need arises.
    • Handle utility maintenance such as electric motor maintenance and repairs, pumps, fans, compressors, blowers, capacitor banks, etc.
    • Maintain power systems in line with schedules both on site and residence.
    • Effectively comply and align with all HSE rules, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and regulatory standards.
    • Maintain a clean working environment.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be highly versatile in electrical troubleshooting.
    • Be self motivated and able to work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have great organizational and time management abilities.

    QUALIFICATION

    • NABTEB/ Trade Test.
    • 5 O’ Level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
    • OND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of flour milling machines and maintenance.
    • Demonstrable experience on utilities maintenance and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.

    Head FP&A, Forecasting and Investment Appraisal

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    Lead the group's overall profitability management and related processes, ensuring the forecast gives a true indication of profitability, and identifying and pursuing opportunities as well as proactively mitigating risks for optimal long- and short-term profit. Manage the investment appraisal process from a financial perspective to ensure that all investments are understood and optimized.

    THE JOB

    Strategic Financial Planning:

    • Lead the group profit management through the budgeting, forecasting, short-term and long-term planning processes.
    • Ensure that short- and long-term forecasts are based on the most accurate estimates available at the time.
    • Drive forecast and investment appraisals while understanding the big picture.

    Financial Control and Optimization:

    • Developing processes and models to set and manage group performance.
    • Ensure that group results are accurate and consistent with expectations.

    Decision Support and Business Case Analysis:

    • Develop 5-year financial models, dashboards, and standard business case analysis.
    • Provide financial guidance on key projects, strategic initiatives, and investment evaluations.

    Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Lead the related FP&A team, offering guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Possess excellent analytical skills, with strong financial modelling and high level of strategic acumen.
    • Possess interpersonal and stakeholders' management abilities.
    • Be proficient with Microsoft office suite and related accounting software.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Minimum requirement: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    • (Professional certification such as ICAN, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA is an added advantage).  Masters' degree is a plus.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and investment appraisals within in any of FMCG, consulting, manufacturing, and agri-business.

    Responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems and related peripherals.

    THE JOB

    • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems and related peripherals.​
    • Provide broad range of IT support and liaise across functional areas supporting incidents, and requests ensuring minimal downtime. ​
    • Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure.​
    • Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems.​
    • Provide third-level support of desktop-related incidents, including desk-side visits as required.​
    • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels agreements and in accordance with department guidelines.​
    • Assist the wider IT User Support Services team when required.​
