Purpose of role
The prospective candidate oversees ALL company technical products, services and activities towards revenue generation covering but not limited to Engineering Services, Project Management, Engineering and Construction expert services.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan, budget, coordinate, execute, monitor and likewise close up of all projects exceeding the satisfaction of customers with the utilization of modern machinery, equipment, tools and techniques for cost effectiveness, timely completion of the projects and quality compliance.
• Lead the Technical Division to effectively and efficiently deliver all projects with constant improvement of quality, reliability, performance, profitability and reputation of the company, keeping in view customer needs and satisfaction, of course meeting statutory and regulatory requirement.
• Ensure that all Contracts/Sub-contract are clearly and fully executed with high compliance to modern operational strategy, methodology and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Sc/HND Electrical Engineering and added with MBA
• Minimum experience of 20 years out of which 5 years should have been managing a large electrical engineering construction department or division
• Technical expertise in power management and power distribution design, architecture, design and development with industry standards for power supply design.
• Must be member of a professional engineering body: COREN, NSE, IEE etc.
• Experience should include planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring and cash flow management of complex projects
• Proficiency in an ERP Solutions and with competencies in Project Management, CAD and Microsoft Office/Prima Vera (PMO)

Key Responsibilities

Provisioning;
Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements of the company/client
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and system standards

Operations and Support;

• Daily system monitoring, verifying and reviewing all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes etc.
• Regular security monitoring to identify possible disturbance, performing daily backup operations.
• Investigating and troubleshoot all issues related to IT infrastructure for internal teams or clients using telephone/emails etc.
• User support and system support in accordance to the IT support policy and also guidance of process and policy.

Maintenance;

• Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures. Performing regular updates and upgrades as and when necessary
• For the successful Infrastructure and Technical Support Officer, you will have;
• A university degree in Computer Engineering or Science or relevant discipline
• 5 – 6 years of relevant work experience
• Strong IT Infrastructure Domain knowledge, knowledge of programming and other applications would be added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office package applications, especially Access and Excel.
• Proficiency in data analysis software packages.

Job Description

• If you would be interested in a highly engaging and rewarding opportunity as Operations Manager for a leading E & P company that would oversee the following functions, you shall:
• Be responsible to manage, schedule and safely oversee the execution of all field operations
• Maintain plant operations and work with facility personnel to optimize plant and production operations to meet production targets and high uptime.
• Monitor Operations for compliance with all applicable Local and international Regulations and Legislations.
• Coordinate and manage the CARs.
• Ensure Operations are run in compliance with the Company’s EHSS policies and procedures
• Coordinate and manage OSVs and helicopters
• Review Emergency Response Procedure and ensure the installations are at a high level of preparedness in terms of facilities
• Ensure the LACT Unit is functional for custody transfer operations.

The Successful Applicant
For the successful Operations Manager, you will have:

• B.Sc. Petroleum / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (MBA will be an added advantage)
• Experience in SIMOPS, understanding and Interpretation of MOSR, Industry Codes & Standards
• Good understanding of crude oil lifting operations and previous experience in offshore operations role
• 15 – 20 years relevant experience.
