    Spa Attendant

    Job Description

    • Assisting with spa treatments such as massages and facials, monitoring the client’s condition during treatment to ensure safety

    Job Duties
    Spa attendants typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

    • Assisting with spa treatments such as massages and facials, monitoring the client’s condition during treatment to ensure safety
    • Cleaning and maintaining spa facilities including locker rooms, saunas, pools, whirlpools, and treatment rooms
    • Providing beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures to clients in accordance with the spa’s policies and procedures
    • Preparing the spa facilities for use by guests by setting up treatment rooms, arranging appointments, and stocking supplies
    • Setting up and maintaining treatment room supplies such as linens, lotions, creams, and oils
    • Scheduling appointments and greeting guests upon arrival at the spa
    • Welcoming guests and providing them with brochures about the spa’s services.

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.

    Nail Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Paint fingernails and toenails
    • Clean, cut and shape nails
    • Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style
    • Remove previously applied polish
    • Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
    • Sterilize equipment before use
    • Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing)
    • Give hand and foot massages
    • Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
    • Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
    • Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences).

    Spa Therapist

    Responsibilities

    • Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
    • Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
    • Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
    • Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
    • Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
    • Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
    • Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
