    Biomedical Equipment Sales Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a Biomedical Equipment Sales Manager for our client who will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of biomedical equipment, including medical imaging machines, patient monitoring devices, surgical equipment, and laboratory instruments to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales and customer service skills to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and procurement teams.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the features, benefits, and technical specifications of biomedical equipment.
    • Conducting maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for installed biomedical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling mechanical and electronic components as needed.
    • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotes, and contract negotiations for equipment sales.
    • Assembling, installing, and configuring complex biomedical equipment at client sites, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company's biomedical equipment sales.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of biomedical equipment, including medical imaging, patient monitoring, surgical, and laboratory instruments.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biomedical technology, regulations, and industry trends.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the pre-sales and post-sales phases.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product engineers, service technicians, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and after-sales support.
    • Assemble, install, and configure complex biomedical equipment at client sites, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
    • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for installed biomedical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling mechanical and electronic components as needed.
    • Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to clients on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and requirements.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and requests for assistance.
    • Gather feedback from clients and work closely with internal teams to address any issues or areas for improvement.
    • The combination of sales expertise, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience with biomedical equipment assembly and disassembly makes this role a unique blend of sales and technical responsibilities in the medical equipment industry.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • 5 years or more proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the biomedical or healthcare industry.
    • Solid understanding of biomedical equipment, including medical imaging, patient monitoring, surgical, and laboratory instruments.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    • Experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining biomedical equipment is highly desirable.
    • Willingness to travel to client sites and attend industry events as needed.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
