    Legal Counsel

    Job Brief;

    • We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to act as the internal legal advisor for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic legal guidance, advice and support to the organization. The candidate will play a crucial role in mitigating legal risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, to various departments and business units within the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contractual matters.
    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents with clients, vendors, and other parties.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support business activities.
    • Identify legal risks and issues, and develop strategies to mitigate and resolve them.
    • Assist with corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, managers, and other departments, to address legal issues and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and meetings with external parties.
    • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations and advise on potential implications.
    • Develop and deliver legal training and education programs for employees on relevant legal topics.
    • Maintain accurate and organized legal records, documents, and databases.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Law; JD or LLB preferred
    • 10yrs of experience as a Legal Counsel
    • Licensed attorney with a valid bar membership
    • Proven experience as a Legal Counsel or similar role, preferably in a Real Estate environment.
    • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
    • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
    • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
    • Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
    • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.

    Facility Maintenance Manager

    Job Brief

    • we are looking for a reliable Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. The right candidate must possess skills in reporting, budgeting, multitasking as necessary.

    Responsibilities

    • supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security
    • Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and ACs, are well-maintained.
    • Management of cleaning, waste disposal, catering, security and parking of each site, while managing the budgets and keeping records of all payments.
    • Managing any refurbishments, current and future renovations and office moves to make sure they all run smoothly and according to plan.
    • Allocating and managing space between buildings
    • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
    • Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments
    • Advising the business on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
    • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
    • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
    • Record daily deliveries and take-outs to reconcile inventory
    • Collaborate with other staff to ensure business goals are met
    • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory where available
    • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years Proven experience as Facility Maintenance Manager or other Managerial role
    • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Facility Management or related field
    • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
    • Working knowledge of estate facilities and equipment.
    • Good Analytical, Interpersonal & Communication skills.
    • Outstanding Organizational and Leadership abilities.
    • Valid Driving license will be an added advantage.

    Accountant

    Job Brief:

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns, preparing the company's financial accounting, treasury management, provision of management and statutory reports, and support the organization’s business planning and performance management processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all accounting transactions
    • Prepare budget forecasts
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure timely bank payments
    • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
    • Audit financial transactions and documents
    • Comply with financial policies and regulations
    • Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and recording of transactions; review entries to the general and subsidiary ledger to assure accuracy and compliance with the company accounting procedures.

    • Support the external audit process by ensuring availability of all required financial and non-financial records.
    • Implement a cost accounting system (standard costs, actual costs, investigation of variances) for effective cost management.

    Requirements and Skills:

    • Bsc /HND in Accounting, Finance or related
    • 5-7years of experience
    • ICAN, ACCA or other Accounting certification is an added advantage
    • Experience with general ledger functions
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAGE
    • Advanced MS Office Software especially MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
