    Partnerships Manager

    Summary

    • We are currently seeking to hire a Partnerships Manager to drive collaborations. 
    • The role involves identifying, developing, and managing partnerships that secure funding and/or technical expertise to support our innovation, entrepreneurship, and talent development initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and engage potential partners, including government bodies, corporate organisations, investors, and academic institutions, to drive funding and technical collaborations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission and strategic priorities.
    • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of key stakeholders and ecosystem players.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Public Policy, Development Studies, Innovation Management, or related fields.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or stakeholder engagement within the innovation, entrepreneurship, or development sectors.
    • Understanding of innovation ecosystems, startup incubation, and entrepreneurship development.
    • Familiarity with funding mechanisms, public-private partnerships, and donor-funded programs.
    • Proven ability to engage and negotiate with high-level stakeholders across government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing high-quality proposals and funding applications.

    Accountant

    Job Summary

    • Our client a remittance organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee all financial activities of the business.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to the COO for decision-making and strategy development.
    • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate postings for all financial transactions.
    • Reconcile all general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring consistency with subsidiary records.

    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and financial reporting tools.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
    • Strong understanding of local tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
