    Regional HR Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a strategically minded, technically strong Regional HR Manager to oversee human resources operations across a dynamic, matrixed group structure in the South East region. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR leader with a deep background in the Construction and Civil Engineering sectors, who can comfortably navigate a shared-services/matrix environment

    This role is for an HR partner who thrives in fast-paced, project-driven environments like construction. You are someone who loves numbers, excels at managing massive blue-collar and white-collar talent pipelines, and possesses the diplomacy needed to manage relationships across multiple corporate entities and group directors.

    KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

    1. Regional HR Support: Lead HR activities to support business operations and workforce needs across the assigned region.
    2. Performance Management: Coordinate and manage the performance review process for both office and site employees.
    3. Technical Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineers, technical professionals, and site-based employees.
    4. Manpower Planning: Work with business leaders to identify staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment.
    5. HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations and ensure consistent HR service delivery.
    6. Policy Implementation: Ensure company HR policies and procedures are applied consistently while supporting operational requirements.
    7. Labour Law Compliance: Monitor compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company policies, particularly for site-based employees.
    8. HR Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records, headcount reports, and HR data to support management decisions.
    9. Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary issues, and grievance resolution to promote a productive work environment.

    REQUIREMENT

    1. Candidate must be living in Awka, Anambra state or its environs
    2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    3. 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years within the Construction or real estate sectors.
    4. Proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment and site-based workforce planning.
    5. Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and HR data reporting.
    6. Deep, practical knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, specifically around contract staffing, artisan management, and casual labor.
    7. CIPM certification or membership is highly preferred.
