- Identify staffing needs (e.g., mechanics, service advisors, technicians).
- Advertise job openings and screen applicants
- Introduce new employees to company policies and procedures.
- Complete employment documentation.
- Provide orientation and initial safety training.
- Organize technical training on new vehicle technologies and repair methods.
- Provide customer service and communication training.
- Support certification programs and
- Set performance expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Recognize achievements and address performance issues.
- Manage salaries, wages, overtime, and incentives.
- Ensure payroll is accurate and timely
- Resolve workplace conflicts and grievances.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Support employee engagement and retention.
- Ensure employees use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Update workplace policies and communicate changes.
- Monitor employee attendance and punctuality.
- Approve and track leave requests.
- Manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing
- Forecast future staffing needs.
- Plan for succession in key positions.
- Help ensure the business has the skills needed to meet customer demand.
