Responsibilties
Facility Maintenance and Operations:
- Ensure all equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are in proper working condition.
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the gym facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of gym equipment, workout areas, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for gym equipment and facility assets.
- You shall supervise the cleaners and their jobs and ensure that the facility, including workout areas, and common spaces, are well-maintained and clean.
- You shall supervise the securities and ensure that they are carrying out their duties diligently.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure the facility complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures within the facility.
- Ensure emergency equipment and safety measures are functional and accessible.
- Report and document any incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues.
Cleaning and Housekeeping Oversight:
- Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness across the facility.
- Monitor cleaning schedules for gym floors, equipment, restrooms, locker rooms, and reception areas.
- Ensure adequate cleaning supplies and materials are available.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for facility repairs and maintenance.
- Supervise contractors during maintenance or installation works.
- Ensure vendors adhere to agreed service standards and timelines.
Inventory and Asset Management:
- Monitor the condition and usage of gym equipment and facility assets.
- Track facility supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
Member experience Support:
- Promptly address facility-related complaints or issues raised by members or staff.
- Ensure the facility environment is welcoming, safe, and conducive for members.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years experience in facility supervision, preferably within a gym, hospitality, or service environment.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance, safety procedures, and equipment management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with management systems or CRM tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities
Customer service & Communication:
- Welcome customers and check in members professionally.
- Attend to all calls, messages, and direct messages in a timely manner.
- Explain gym packages to new members and assist them in becoming familiar with the facility.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries effectively.

Access Control & Security:
- Ensure accurate and adequate access control for all members and visitors.
- Act as the “eyes and ears” of the facility by reporting suspicious activities or safety concerns promptly
Administrative & Clerical Duties:
- Handle general front desk operations including sorting incoming mail, filing, data entry, and dispatching packages.
- Ensure proper organization of front office operations and maintain tidy, clean common areas.
- Manage supply inventory and monitor facility equipment needs.
Marketing Support & Social -Media:
- Create engaging content and manage the facility’s social media platforms to promote services and events.
- Support promotional campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with trainers and management to highlight success stories on social media.
Health and Safety:
- Enforce gym safety rules and ensure members use equipment responsibly.
- Monitor compliance with hygiene standards (sanitizing equipment, enforcing mask or cleanliness policies if applicable).
- Support emergency procedures, including first aid response and evacuation protocols.
- Ensure that front desk is tidy at all times.
Professional Development:
- Participate in staff training sessions to stay updated on customer service, safety, and fitness trends.
- Maintain knowledge of gym services, schedules, and promotions to answer member inquiries effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Customer Service or any related
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in customer-facing role (fitness /hospitality industry a plus).
