Responsibilities
Operation of Cash, Desk, and Systems:
Uses the cash desk, Till and back-office systems of the shop in strict compliance with Buymore’s procedures, which includes:

• Processing all sales transactions
• Capturing customer details for any loyalty schemes
• Processing all sale return transactions (approved by Supervisor or General Supervisor)
• Checking availability of stock of products for customer request.

Customer Service:

• Ensuring that all customers are welcomed and that they receive the best possible service at all times.
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Respond to customers’ questions and direct to the Supervisor on duty if you are unable to provide a satisfactory response.

Execution of policies and Procedures:

• Executes all operating standards, policies, and procedures of the organization

Other Responsibilities:

• Ensure your work area is always tidy and presentable
• Champions the Buymore Brand and Values
• Champions the Standard Operating Procedure of Buymore
• Reconciliation of previous day transactions with Account
• Cashing out at appropriate time according to the Buymore’s policy.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Job Responsibilities

• Switching on and off of all the generators as at when due.
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly Maintenance of the generators.
• Handle the purchase and supply of diesel, engine oils and such things needed for the operations of the generators.
• Ensures all power consuming loads are well distributed on the generators and needless loads are reduced immediately.
• Call upon the engineers for routine checks and repairs as the need arises.
• Purchase of electricity token for the meter and recording the purchases in the file.
• Ensure constant attention is given to the generators at all times e.g., sound, smoke emission, water need, fuel need etc
• Assist electricians and artisans whenever their services are needed.
• Ensure the Inverter is properly loaded and functioning.
• Take records of all diesel, engine oil consumptions in the files opened for these purposes.
• Ensure that Generator Maintenance Register is updated and signed off.
• Assist in monitoring projects and constructions initiated in the premises
• Ensure timely waste burning and disposal
• Ensure electricity supply to the premises at all times
• Ensures the premises is clean at all times
• Report any damages or structures or equipment needing repairs
• Assist the manager in other roles assigned as the need shall arise.
• Ensure the premises is free from rodent, reptiles and grass.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 year experience.

Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Facilitate the Buymore Brand in ensuring that all customers are welcomed and that they receive the best possible service by:
• Greeting customers and ascertaining what each customer wants or needs.
• Providing a proper level of service to customers and potential customers
• Facilitating sales to customers in compliance with all company policies and conditions
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services

Floor Management:

• Organizing the shop floor and ensuring all merchandize are well displayed on the shelves
• Ensure racks are fully stocked at all times.
• Ensure all products on display are tagged with current prices
• Daily clean shelves, merchandize and tables.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

Operational Execution:

• Ensure compliance with all operating standards, policies, and procedures, which include:
• Ensuring the safekeeping and protection of all company assets (owned or rented)
• Replenishing sold items from the stock room
• Inform procurement departments of products on demand by customers
• Notify Inventory department about products expiring date
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
