    Vetting Officer

    Supervisory / Operational Duties

    • Ensures proper and thorough vetting and background checks are carried out on all operatives and employee of the company.
    • Ensures proper and thorough guarantor verification checks are carried out on all operatives and employee of the company.
    • Confirms the eligibility of the prospective employee's guarantor.
    • Conduct vetting and background checks on commercial basis.
    • Confirms the correctness or otherwise of the information provided in the staff file.
    • Give sound recommendations to individual vetting status.
    • Carries out criminal checks with the police.
    • Undertakes investigation of incidences.
    • Present weekly vetting reports for necessary decision making.
    • Carry out the full range of checks specified in the companyvetting policy, to ensure that all relevant information is obtained.

    Requirements

    • Must be familiar with lagos route.
    • Good communication / listening skills.

    Security Patrol Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Security Patrol Officer is required to provide support to the Security Operations Manager to effectively manage Security in all Client locations, set objectives that will ensure guards' efficiency and standard security services.

    Functions
    The Patrol Officer is expected to perform the following functions:

    • Supervise security guards and ensure compliance with company’s guarding policy.
    • Conduct routine patrols of clients’ locations in assigned area of responsibility and ensure the guards are performing their duties.
    • Monitor security services at guard locations.
    • Enforcement of Company's rules and regulations for Security guards.
    • Maintain daily records of guards’ attendance and performances.
    • Initiate disciplinary measures whenever necessary.
    • Organize guards for scheduled Trainings, programs, and functions.
    • Evaluate, assess, and analyse performance of security personnel.
    • Organize and lead emergency response drills for Security guards.
    • Responding to alarms, distress calls and reports of emergencies in Clients’ locations.
    • Investigate and manage infractions/incidents at guard locations, and document same in line with company’s incident reporting.
    • Follow up to ensure proper close-out on corrective actions in all identified gaps at guard locations.
    • Conduct inspections for physical security and safety hazards.
    • Update the required daily, weekly, and monthly reports and highlight threats for management information and the status of corrective actions.
    • Audit of physical and electronic security systems at guard locations and ensure all security systems, like the burglar alarms and CCTV in client’s locations are working properly.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with the aim to enhance productivity, profitability, customer service and Business development.
    • Assist the security services manager to plan, prepare, and to execute security management strategic Initiatives.
    • Any other task assigned by Operations Head.

    Requirement

    • MIlitary/Para military experience will be an added advantage.
