We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing company to start as soon as possible. As our Project Manager, you will work with the existing Tender Production team to achieve the successful delivery of tender projects to an agreed schedule and budget, and to a high-quality standard.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;
- Managing the project through each stage of the project lifecycle; Initiation – Build – Delivery
- Checking of drawings when received from the Technical team for materials required and compatibility on-board
- Updating the bill for materials and allocating a timeframe for ordering against the project gantt chart
- Liaising with Purchasing team to order materials within the allocated timeframe, ensuring all materials required are on site when needed
- Managing the build to time & budget
- Ensure that all Quality checks have been actioned and evidenced
- Managing the teams working on the project & identifying resources required
- Managing Dependencies with other supply teams i.e. laminating, engineering, paint finishing, joinery
- Any other function as may be assigned by the Head of Operations or GMD
Qualifications / Experience
- First bachelor’s degree/HND Mechanical Engineering (Production) or related field
- A Master’s degree or an MBA will be added advantage
- Project Management experience, preferably within the Marine sector
- Experienced in PMO reporting i.e. status reporting, risks & issues escalation, milestone reporting etc
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in composite boat building
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
Technical:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines
- experience in Quality Management oversight or process management will be an advantage
Non-Technical:
- Experience in Leading and Managing people, with the confidence to give direction to a team and drive delivery to deadlines

Job Summary
A ship fitter's responsibilities include fitting and pipe brazing repairs, basic fixture fabrication and alteration team repairs on naval maritime elevator and hydraulic systems. They also operate overhead cranes and periodically certify on forklifts. They gather material and fabricate per engineering drawings, construct natural gas compressors for production, and lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment according to blueprints.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;
- Achieve x-ray certification on aluminum using MIG process.
- Lead and assist in executing pipefitting/welding of steel, copper, PVC, and flange piping.
- Cut materials with various tools including torches, reciprocating saws, grinders and plasma cutters to ensure exact measurements.
- Work includes using torches, grinders and other power tools to cut material to size and prep to weld and paint.
- Assemble hoisting and rigging equipment.
- Repair and re-fit oil rig platforms.
- Used all PPE equipment correctly and safely.
- Operate TIG to repair cores with incomplete vacuum oven bonding.
- Supervise and install commercial HVAC systems, plumbing and sewer systems.
- Gain qualification to be able to perform tack welds on naval vessels.
- Job duties are to assemble and tack-weld parts as per blue print specifications.
- Assist rig manager in planning for work load, schedule and timeline expectations.
- Perform high-quality MIG welding and weld testing for leading manufacturer of platform trailers.
- Build, tack, and TIG weld aluminum parts per Linkbelt blueprint qualifications.
- Build skids, ladders walkways & boat bumpers.Prep and fit material on various jobs.
- Any other function as may be assigned by the Project Manager
