• We are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to drive and manage strategic partnerships on behalf of the Innovation Consulting Unit at CcHUB.
• The Innovation Consulting Unit supports Nigerian institutions and individuals with innovation to create value.
• As Business Development Manager, you will serve as the interface between CcHUB and our partners, identifying and negotiating new partnerships for CcHUB across all innovation consulting areas to help achieve our business objectives. You will also recommend opportunities to improve and extend relationships with strategic partners.
• This role reports to the Director, Innovation Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and negotiate new opportunities and partnerships.
• Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing clients.
• Partner with Management to plan new joint initiatives and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.
• Ensure project & initiative progress, including consistent & effective communication. This includes managing escalation & avoiding risk.
• Manage all relationships with partners (investors and clients) and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with practice leads to execute partnership plans efficiently.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of client needs and identify trends and opportunities, in order to develop plans that grow the scope and quality of our partnerships.
• Attend partnership related meetings with Practice and Unit leads.
• Perform other details as assigned by leadership.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant educational qualification and 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in managing and growing corporate partnerships.
• Strong interest in technology & social entrepreneurship in Nigeria and beyond.
• Proven track record of managing successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a Consulting environment.
• Highly developed networking skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in writing strong effective proposals & delivering presentations.
• Self motivated, revenue driven and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Detail oriented with strong organization skills and the ability to plan and prioritize work schedules according to deadlines.

• Provide engaging text, image & video content for social media accounts.
• Maintain the content calendar and ensure it is regular,relevant & up to date.
• Monitor & report on feedback & online reviews.
• Liaise with management to relay customer feedback insights gained from online conversations within the community.
• Build relationships with customers, potential customers and industry professionals.

• We are looking to recruit an Incubation Associatewho will take ownership of managing/coordinating some of our out of hub programmes, provide assistance with major programmes especially with regards to coordinating communication with startup teams and ensuring documentations are up to date, and also handle communications and research for the unit.

Responsibilities
Startup Support:

• Work with each portfolio company to build, test and acquire customers.
• Ensure startups are filling all documents necessary.
• Put together a report at the end of the month: what we have done with startups and what has been accomplished by the startups.
• Be in charge of the management of our out of hub programs with support from the rest of the team (e.g. NERI).
• Managing applications.

Communication:

• Document each session and publish via medium.
• Create content specific to the work in our unit and companies we support for social media.
• Manage communication between startups and the unit.

Research:

• Industry research for startups
• Spotting opportunities for startups
• Creating a research report schedule
• Know industry experts for each startup that we can bring and help connect to the related startup.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's in Finance, Economics or related field.

Job Description

• We are looking to recruit an experienced information security professional to lead the Digital Security Team geared to supporting civil society, startups, the media and active citizens to stay safe online.
• The Digital Security Team Lead will drive CcHUB’s effort to ensure safe use of the technologies used to improve quality of life for Nigerians.
• You will manage a network of digital security trainers, auditor, penetration testers and rapid responders spread across the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CcHUB Digital Security team including planning of activities, resources, task allocation, budgets and operations
• Liaise with clients particularly civil society organisations, journalists and startups to identify and meet their digital security needs
• Build and manage a team of digital security trainers, auditors and rapid responders to support our target users
• Develop and implement a quality assurance framework for CcHUB’s digital security consultants
• Lead research to build awareness around digital security threats that Nigerian users and organisations may be susceptible to and mitigation strategies
• Liaise with the global internet freedom movement to understand trends that might have local implication for Nigerian organisations
• Provide technical insights & digital security support to all startups incubated at the CcHUB
• Lead in developing proposals for new digital security projects to local and international funding organisations
• Prospect for new opportunities to provide digital security support to clients
• Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all activities
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications

• Extensive information security experience and relevant industry-recognised security certification(s)
• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited university
• Experience providing digital security support to clients in a structured business environment
• Ability to methodically analyze problems and identify solutions and communicate to non-technical audience
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Strong understanding of various web technologies and experience with application code review
