    Senior Technical Advisor - PCT

    Job Description

    • Senior Technical Advisor - PCT provides leadership and technical support to the PD in the area of PMTCT, clinical care/ART and reproductive health.
    • S/he coordinates services needed to implement high quality care PMTCT, HIV care and treatment and reproductive health/family planning services (RH/FP), will equally assist the Project Director to provide technical leadership and technical support related to clinical management of HIV/AIDS, PMTCT, Reproductive Health/Family Planning strategies and approaches at the facility level.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • MB.BS / MD / PHD or similar degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience working in the health or development field in Nigeria.

    Job Description

    • HIV Specialist will provide technical support at state level to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities with primary focus on technical areas of comprehensive TB and HIV/AIDS programs including laboratory, pharmacy, logistics, prevention, care, treatment, TB, RMNCH, mitigation, monitoring and evaluation.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MB.BS / MD / PhD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.
    • Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.
    • Or BS/BA in pharmacy, microbiology, health sciences, monitoring and evaluation, public health or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.
    • For each band above, possession of an additional post graduate degree in a related field is an advantage.

    Job Description

    • Senior Technical Officer - Clinical Care (ART / PMTCT) will provide technical support to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS including provision of Anti-retroviral therapy (ART), will equally provide technical leadership and support to the implementing agencies in prevention and mitigation at the state level.
    • It includes supporting the implementation of prevention activities (sexual and biomedical) and strategic behaviour change interventions, testing and counselling, home based care, orphans and vulnerable children and other community mobilization activities

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MB.BS / MD / PHD or similar degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.

    Technical Officer - GIS Health Informatics

    Job Description

    • Technical Officer - GIS Health Informatics will support the administration and management of AHNI’s management information system for routine data and data use at facility, state and country office level.
    • S/he will ensure that all electronic information systems meet intended reporting and data output requirements for donors and G0N.
    • S/he will provide technical support for the development and implementation of a systematic data analysis process of data outputs from the electronic Information systems, carrying out advanced data analysis and preparing data analysis products for presentation and reporting.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • University Degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Database Management, Health Informatics or any related field
    • A minimum 2 years’ experience in reporting position with Local or International NGOs; preferably in Care and treatment with sound understanding of HIV/AIDS, TB and TB/HIV technical areas as well as PEPFAR MER indicator requirements.
    • Demonstrated experience optimizing dashboards on Power Bi, Tableau an added advantage.
    • Experience with DHIS, DATIM and RADEV reporting a plus.
    • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and well-developed computer skills required.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
    • Ability to analyse and interpret large amount of information, manage tight deadlines and deliver high volumes of work with minimal supervision

    Job Description

    • Institutional Capacity Strengthening / Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor as a member of the Program Management Team, provide institutional support to the National Treatment and PMTCT Program (NTPP)/States as Implementing Entity (SlE) states (Benue, Nasarawa and FCT) at the North Central level in accordance with identified areas of strengthening in the state.
    • He/ She will provide oversight and coordinate all institutional capacity strengthening activities in the NTPP/SIE states.

    Job Description

    • Associate Director-Strategic Information provides leadership support to the State Director in all monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for AHNi in Cross River state.
    • S/he supports the state Director in overall management and provision of technical inputs to improve and facilitate the delivery of sound technical assistance in M&E, including to the State Government (GON) upon request.
    • S/he collaborates closely with other major stakeholders in the implementation and improvement of the national M&E effort in Cross River state.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MB.BS / MD / PHD or similar degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation in large HIV/AIDS programs at national or international level.
    • MS/MA in Demography, Economics and an MPH or similar degree with 7 to9 years relevant experience in project- level or state/national-level Monitoring and Evaluation in large HIV/AIDS programs at national or international ‘level.
    • Sound practical knowledge of statistics and the use of statistical software.
    • Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is required. Familiarity with USAID and PEPFAR programs is required.
