Summary

This role ensures the seamless delivery of last-mile installation of Technogym equipment, subsequent service maintenance and design gym layout for the organization’s clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all assigned installation and setup of equipment for clients following product blueprints and instructions.
• Scope installation areas to determine the most appropriate use of space for installation. Suggesting modifications, when necessary, to enhance the usability of devices.
• Perform periodic inspection of previously installed equipment either based on after-service agreements or as required by customers and assigned by the Manager.
• Diagnose issues related to equipment when required by clients.
• Perform routine or requested maintenance on fitness equipment for clients.
• Advise clients on appropriate maintenance procedures, as instructed, and approved by the Technogym.
• Attend all training and capacity development initiatives assigned by the organization.
• Communicate with sales team to establish all delivery and assembly requirements, including which equipment is involved and what timing requirements must be met.
• Assist the Team Lead as required in communicating with the customer to analyze the logistics of the delivery/installation and to schedule a time that is satisfactory to the customer.
• Assist Team Lead as required in determining what tools, and vehicles will be required to perform the delivery/installation and in scheduling them appropriately, including reserving and coordinating the
• pickup trucks when necessary.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during client interactions.
• Prepare and effectively complete all necessary paperwork and reports as associated with assigned tasks.
• Follow all KPN code of ethics and compliance rules.
• Carry out physical checks of all received products, confirming correctness with details of the original purchase order and other (shipping) documentation as well as the absence of damaged goods.
• Picking spare part for replacement of clients’ faulty equipment.
• Designing gym layout plan for clients has the department need arises.
• Keeping proper documentation on service maintenance contacts.
• Keeping relevant records for jobs completed.

Requirements

• First degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 3 – 6 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical machinery and their installation.
• Knowledge of installation parts and tools
• Ability to read three-dimensional blueprints.
• Mechanical/Electrical Troubleshooting/Repair Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting installation project plans, including a work plan as well as a scope and approach document
• Monitor Project scope, time, quality and budget as part of the end-to-end project management process
• Manage and co-coordinate sub-contractors and artisans to ensure proper product installation, prevent product damage and ensure the 100% working conditions of installed bathroom, kitchen and light products prior to project hand-over
• Manage installation project as assigned from start to finish and responsible for any deviation of sub-contractors installation from drawings.
• Liaise with in-house and clients’ architects to ensure products are properly installed according to drawing specification
• Handle the procurement of project installation materials where applicable
• Ensure necessary policy and procedures are followed before mobilizing subcontractors to site
• Ensure adherence to standard Project Closeout procedures including administering Client Satisfaction surveys for each installation project
• Perform all such project monitoring activities as instructed by the Supervisor
• Generate and Circulate Project Exceptions report, highlighting installation policy and procedural violations
• Provide weekly reports on all project installation activities

Requirements

• First Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Professional Project Management Certification is an added advantage.
• 4-6 years’ relevant work experience. Minimum of two years in Bathroom Design & Installation experience
