    Technical Assistant to General Manager

    Job Expectation / Purpose

    • As a Technical Assistant, you will be expected to carry out fundamental administrative duties, such as filing,writing emails, printing documents, scheduling meetings, taking phone calls, and producing reports.
    • The Technical Assistant provides support and assistance on strategic and technical matters as well as provides high quality secretarial and administrative support.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Reporting to the General manager and supporting business operations by doing administrative and technical tasks.
    • Arranging and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
    • Processing, typing, editing, and formatting reports and documents.
    • Filing documents, as well as entering data and maintaining databases.
    • Assisting with copying, scanning, emailing, note-taking, and travel bookings.

    Required Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Office Administration or relevant field.
    • Good years of experience as an administrative secretary and other relevant technical certificates would be an added advantage.
    • Advance proficiency in computer packages: MS Office and database systems.
    • Proficiency in appointment scheduling and call forwarding skills.
    • Ability to liaise internally and externally on administrative matters.
    • Working knowledge of email systems, computer hardware and peripherals.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work under strict supervision.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical data.

    Driver

    Job Description

    • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with Company, Local, State and National rules
    • Transport goods, equipment, and personnel to and from specified locations in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
    • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for each trip to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Load and unload goods or equipment as needed, ensuring their safe handling and secure storage.
    • Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.
    • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures, including first aid and crisis response.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of company vehicles.
    • Ensure that all required vehicle documents, such as licenses, insurance, and registration, are up to date and valid.
    • Assist in the organization of transportation schedules and coordination with logistics teams.
    • Report any accidents, injuries, or traffic violations and cooperate with company and law enforcement authorities.
    • Follow company policies and guidelines on vehicle use and code of conduct.
    • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize transportation procedures.
    • Stay updated on local traffic and road conditions that may affect transportation schedules.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • OND/SSCE/NECO certificates
    • Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle to be operated.
    • Five years of experience as a professional driver.
    • Clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.
    • Knowledge oftraffic regulations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
    • Ability to handle various types of cargo and equipment.
    • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
    • Good physical condition and endurance for long hours on the road.
    • GPS and navigation system proficiency.
    • Proficiency in local languages and a second language is a plus for international driving.

    Ticketing / Reservation Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
    • Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
    • Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
    • Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
    • Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
    • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
    • Selling and promoting reservation services.
    • Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
    • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
    • Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND with 3-10 years experience.
    • Certified travel associate (CTA) or certified travel counselor (CTC), preferred.
    • Experience working in sales or public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries.
    • Proficiency with Local and International Ticketing Software
    • Customer-service experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Proficient in microsoft office suite.
    • Data entry experience.
    • Flexible working hours.
