    Engineer - RF Optimization

    • Measure Network Capacity and coverage enhancement functions within the assigned cluster with:
    • Capacity – Ensures Managed Services partner does capacity study at the beginning of the year and provides input to RF Planning.
    • Coverage – Ensures Managed Services partner does coverage optimization and provides input to RF planning on coverage gaps.
    • Technology Monitoring – Ensure multiservice sites (2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G etc.) monitoring with good performance.
    • Measure Network optimization/performance management within the region with:  
    • Daily Network Health check using Statistical tools like MAPS.
    • Ensure Managed Services carries out Network Drive Test and Optimization to improve network quality.
    • Ensure Automatic Frequency Planning (AFP) of the GSM Network to improve the GSM network coverage, quality and customer experience.
    • Monitor and analyze network performance and configuration to ensure KPIs are in conformance with targets
    • Analyze and critic MSOP Weekly Optimization Reports and provide comments on SLA KPIs and Performance KPIs in order to foresee needs for coverage/capacity expansion.
    • Review network changes submitted by the optimization vendors before logging job request to the Change Management Portal and engage all relevant stakeholders before the Change Management Meetings.
    • Maintain accurate and thorough Knowledge of the network architecture
    • Coordinate customer complains resolution with the Optimization Vendor
    • Coordinate the handling of local network queries raised by the customer operations team in the assigned cluster
    • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the behavior and status of all sites in the assigned cluster to aid feedback to management

    Education:

    • First Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.

    Experience:

    • 3-7 years of experience which includes:
    • RF Optimization experience with a Telecom vendor or Wireless Telecom operator  
    • Experience on 2G, 3G, 4G Optimization

    Officer - Total Quality Management BP

    • Develop and review test scripts and test cases.
    • Develop Product Concept and User Requirements Specification Documents.
    • Coordinate & participate in User Acceptance Testing processes for MTN products and services.
    • Provide input into Product Concept Documents and User Requirement from a testing and customer support perspective.
    • Participate in the implementation of Frontline Empowerment Business initiatives.
    • Carry out research on root causes of top Customer challenges and translate into criteria for allocation of priority on test cases.
    • Ensure proper documentation of all user systems and provide user guides for new and/or modified systems.

    Education:

    Analyst - Infrastructure Operations

    • Monitor, diagnose and resolve problems with key IT systems to ensure systems work efficiently.
    • Assist other Infrastructure and Cloud team and development teams to resolve application-to-platform integration issues (IaaS and PaaS) across different cloud providers and deployment models.
    • Manage crisis situations and work under pressure to resolve problems.
    • Plan and undertake projects to improve and upgrade key IT systems as directed by IT Senior management.

    Experience:

    • 3 - 7 years of experience which includes;
    • Proficiency in the implementation and management of at least two of the following technical disciplines: Databases (Relational and NoSql); Operating Systems(Linux, Unix and Windows); Storage and SAN solutions, Backup and recovery, Replication technology as well as Virtualisation
    • Experience in platform migrations and upgrade of Infrastructure components e.g. Firmware, databases etc.
    • Hands-on experience managing and migrating cloud solutions.
    • Ability to automate the entire DevOps pipeline, including CI/CD cycles, app performance monitoring, infrastructure, and configurations, among others.
    • Skilled in Infrastructure as a code and able to work with tools such as Git, GitHub, Puppet etc.

    Analyst - Machine Learning

    • Carry out data mining and statistical modelling for various machine learning use-cases.
    • Search and select appropriate data sets before performing data collection and data modelling.
    • Train and retrain machine learning systems and models as needed.
    • Work closely with data engineers, business analyst, statisticians and subject matter experts to drive deep analysis and uncover useful insights.
    • Identify differences in data distribution that could affect model performance in real-world situations.
    • Perform data visualization for deeper insights.

    • Contribute and participate in campaign idea generation meetings and cross functional Customer Lifecycle Management meeting as required
    • Work closely with CVM stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision makers.

    Analyst - Campaign Management

    • Develop and execute BTL with the aim of generating incremental revenue and reducing churn on the network
    • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns 
    • Write, edit and proofread campaign scripts to ensure the best and effective marketing communication is achieved to drive campaign uptake and improved campaign success rate
    • Regularly monitor and measure ROI of campaigns and take key decisions regarding continuity or modification of campaigns
    • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing ones

    Senior Manager - Innovation

    • Scan the business evaluating opportunities, customer needs and organizational capabilities with a view to addressing the threats of disruptive business models in a manner that ensures the long-term competitiveness of MTNN
    • Develop solutions to broad business interests with little or no precedent, that may require comprehensive and original concepts and approaches

    • Develop a highly capable innovation practice within MTNN
    • Support the identification, evaluation and tracking the development needs and performance of staff within the function, providing opportunities for staff to build on the company’s investment in their training and improve productivity.

    Education: 

    • A first degree in engineering, IT or a related field
    • Certifications in innovation management and/or an MBA are advantageous
    • Certification in data analytics, data sciences, agile and digital transformation also advantageous  
    • Fluent in English

    Experience:

    • 9 - 17 years’ experience which includes:
    • Management track record of 4 years or more 
    • Minimum 3 years experience working in innovation management, technology, technology and innovation hubs or venture capital 
    • Experience working with start-ups    
    • Experience working in product development or utilizing design thinking methodologies is desirable
    • Advanced experience working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
