    Project Administration Officer

    Job Purpose

    • To oversee and perform administrative functions concerned with a project

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    Project Administration

    • Ensure project’s administrative and financial activities comply with rules and regulations
    • Support development and preparation of result – oriented work plans, critical paths and other project management tools
    • Provide support to the implementation of the internal standard operating procedures
    • Coordinate the arrangement of appointments and meetings, including compilation of briefing and presentation materials, speeches, ground information and documentation
    • Provide translation of simple correspondence and act as an interpreter and take meeting minutes if required
    • Support preparation of budgets and provide information for audit needs
    • Arrange travel and hotel reservations, obtain necessary travel authorizations as required
    • Provide administrative support to organization on conferences, workshops and retreats as required;
    • Maintain an up-to-date list of inventory of the project and support annual physical verification by checking the accuracy of records and location of property;
    • Act as a custodian for the management of project stationary supplies including maintenance of stock list of stationary, distribution of stationary as required and keeping the log of distribution
    • Maintain filing system ensuring safekeeping of confidential materials and documents

    Job Specifications

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Public administration or related field is required.

    Quality Control Associate (Material Testing)

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure conformity of materials to standards (NIS, Codex and/or FC established) through established analytical procedure.
    • To oversee improvement of existing production materials, conducting test and inspections, identifying production process or product issues and presenting solutions, processes to ensure that they meet standard.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    Quality Standards and Procedural Management

    • Create a prototype of a new product in order to perfect the design in the final product
    • Evaluate raw materials, packaging materials, PPE and subject them to physico- chemical evaluation referencing International standard (CODEX Alimentarius) and National standards (NIS) and approved work instruction.
    • Conduct a laboratory based organoleptic evaluation on new raw and packaging materials to establish suitability for the purpose.
    • Verifies water quality evaluation and escalates when the reports falls below required Nigerian Industrial standards (NIS)
    • Establish effective Integrated Pest Management within the business.
    • Maintain all operations and technical documents assigned to him
    • Stay updated on new testing methods, technologies, and regulatory updates in the food production industry
    • Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Communicate test results, quality issues, and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure strict conformity to cGMP, GHP, and GLP at all times
    • Should always ensure strict adherence to all set operation standards.
    • Develop a measurable standard for materials and processes assigned to him/her.
    • Maintain good and traceable documentation for all analytical, development and production processes.
    • Report any non – conformity beyond his competence to the Superior without assumption.
    • Collate and process analytical data, and submit adequate report timely to the superior.
    • Communicate test results, quality issues, and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.

    Suppliers Certification

    • Develop standards and quality criteria required from the organization raw materials suppliers.
    • Demand FC’s / Regulatory agencies acceptable quality and food safety standards from our raw materials suppliers and contractors during supplies and services.
    • Create a system that verifies, certifies and recommends acceptable suppliers that aligns with the FC’s minimum supplies’ quality standards.

    Quality Compliance

    • Responsible for product labelling compliance and for keeping product specifications current.
    • Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to food quality and food safety.
    • Investigate quality concerns or complaints about food raw and packaging materials
    • Take necessary steps to control potentially unsafe or poor quality products

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Zero to minimal customer complaints related to analysed products.
    • Timeliness and accuracy of test results.
    • Adherence to equipment calibration schedules.
    • Compliance with waste management and documentation standards.
    • Effectiveness in addressing and resolving quality issues around products

    Knowledge Requirements

    • Knowledge of good laboratory practices
    • Knowledge of maintenance of equipment
    • Demonstrates data entry skills and proper documentation skills
    • Knowledge of advance scientific methods of Analysis

    Job Specifications

    • A good first degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
    • Proficiency in Analytical Methods, Training in Advanced Testing, Six Sigma Certification, HACCP Certification, or any other related professional certification is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience in similar role

    Decision Expectations

    • Decides on appropriate testing methods for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
    • Determine product acceptability based on test results, flagging any non-conformances for action.
    • Ensure raw materials meet specifications and recommend adjustments to production processes when needed.
    • Manages lab equipment calibration, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring testing accuracy. Ensure all processes comply with food safety standards and maintain proper documentation to meet regulatory requirements.

    Field Quality Associate

    Job Purpose

    • The Associate will be directly responsible for strict compliance with Quality, environmental, Health and Safety, and regulatory matters support in the assigned region/patch

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    • To strictly adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements in Lagos stores and Pie production unit.
    • To adhere to all the safety and environment regulations within and around the production area (PPU) and all the company brands (CR stores, Pie Express and Chopbox).
    • To ensure discipline in all the FC department in the region, example: wearing uniform, wearing of badges, using of proper tools, and to ensure that all safety requirements are met.
    • To ensure effective co-ordination with all the sections within the region (Lagos) FC units, for effective service to other departments/divisions/units.
    • To ensure calibration of all the measuring and weighing equipment under direct control of the shared service division are carried out regularly and recommends such to other departments.
    • To ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in the area of control all the time.
    • To submit the required reports example: daily, weekly, monthly or any periodic reports to the superior.
    • To strictly adhere to the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, and 45000 and other company adopted quality/operation management system.
    • To ensure and maintain all operations, and technical document assigned to him/her.
    • To ensure strict conformity to cGMP, and GHP always
    • To ensure conformity of all raw materials and packaging materials to specifications before usage in the production shop floor (Pie production unit), and CR Stores.
    • To ensure strict compliance to FC process standards, such as Operation Alert, SIC (Short Interval Control), and carry out on the spot checks on processes and materials before clearance for use/dispatch.
    • The staff should develop a measurable standard for materials and processes assigned to him/her.
    • The staff should report any non – conformity beyond his competence to the Superior without assumption.
    • To cater for regulatory activities with the government agencies.
    • The staff is duty bound to maintain confidentiality of all technical information or documentation at his disposal.

    Quality Associate - Warehouse

    Job Purpose

    • The Associate will be directly responsible for strict and consistent compliance with quality management system, regulatory requirements, good manufacturing/inventory management techniques and facility to ensure safety of personnel and quality integrity of In-bound goods within the warehouse.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    • The employee should be at his duty post not later than 5 minutes before the official resumption time. And shall maintain shift continuity unit when the RELIVER or his designate resume.
    • To conduct quality checks on inbound goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. This consists of both visual and sensory inspection (colour, odour etc).
    • To identify hazards and ensure the safe handling and storage of materials.
    • To adhere to proper monitoring and enforcement of safety protocols for receiving and storage activities.
    • To ensure strict compliance to SAFETY REQUIREMENTS and USE OF PPE WTIHIN THE AREA OF OPERATION
    • To ensure effective co-ordination with all the sections within the area of operation for effective service to other departments/divisions/units.
    • To ensure good house - keeping and cleanliness in the warehouse environment in coordination the warehouse personnel.
    • To ensure proper segregation and documentation of accepted and rejected materials.
    • To ensure vehicles used for delivery meet hygiene and safety standards.
    • To ensure and maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective action.
    • To ensure strict conformity to cGMP, and GHP always.
    • To ensure conformity of all raw materials and packaging materials to specifications before delivery to the warehouse.
    • To ensure proper labelling of stored goods for clear identification.
    • To ensure warehouse personnel are well trained on QHSE procedures and best practices.
    • To ensure the vehicle integrity of all delivering vehicles meets the acceptable standard.
    • The employee should develop a measurable standard for materials and processes assigned to him/her in conjunction with the line supervisor.
    • To ensure proper storage of product, adhering to temperature, humidity, and pest control guidelines.
    • Whenever required, he will cater for regulatory activities with the government agencies.
    • The employee is duty bound to maintain confidentiality of all technical information or documentation at his disposal.
    • To ensure proper investigation and report on incidents or non-compliances in the inbound and outbound sections and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
    • To ensure that inbound operations align with local and international safety standards.
    • To liaise and ensure that suppliers adhere to agreed quality parameters.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Remarkable reduction in cases of product quality failure
    • Reduction in the incidence of operational accident
    • Identification of unsafe acts and conditions within the area of operation, and provision of mitigation actions.
    • Inspection and reporting accuracy of completed reports.

    Knowledge Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience in similar role
