    Head, Bureau De Change

    Job Objectives

    • Carrying out effective and efficient BDC Marketing and Operations for the organization ensuring the increase of the organization’s market share and hence the bottom-line.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lead the development of customers/ clients for the organization’s business
    • Oversee the preparation and execution the CBN weekly bid
    • Oversee the strategy development to sell at the best rate
    • Oversee the management of client’s funds.
    • Oversee the current record of bank's funds on deposit (position) in BDC account
    • Lists totals in holdover register and posts net balances to daily position reports to determine new position.
    • Reviews records to determine when balances need replenishing.
    • Analyze current and previous balance sheets to eliminate double posting to transactions and verification of limits.
    • Oversee the preparation of BDC USD and Naira reconciliation report to determine when to replenish or fund the account.
    • Provide leadership to responses on inquiries regarding foreign exchange trading regulations.
    • Oversee the preparation of CBN Electronic Financial Analysis & surveillance System (EFASS) daily and monthly report
    • Oversee the printing matching tickets for further processing and reconciliation
    • Oversee the proper recording ofBDC detailed transactions and accurate posting into the software if applicable
    • Must be up to date on established conversion rates and CBN new guidelines and communicates to company’s customers accordingly.
    • Provide necessary information to the finance department for the preparation of Percy Aitkin monthly Management Report.
    • Ensure regular monitoring of Percy Aitkin Bank Accounts and report to management accordingly
    • Ensure prompt and timely submission of audited financial statements to the CBN
    • submit CBN monthly returns to the department of trade and investment
    • Prepare Weekly Management report on the latest information as it affects the Foreign exchange market and CBN new guidelines and policies

    Qualification & Experience

    • First Degree from a reputable University.
    • At least 8-10 years work experience in BDC operations.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent understanding of BDC operation
    • Effective negotiation skills
    • Effective business communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Excellent customer relations skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
    • Good problem solving abilities
    • Good interpersonal relationship
    • Ability to meet and exceed set target.

    IT Project & Lead Business Analyst

    Job Summary

    • Manage the delivery of IT Projects and conduct business analysis for the company to facilitate positive business outcomes.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities
    Leadership:

    • Review business requests of IT Projects (or new services) and lead delivery timeline and prioritization conversions.
    • Analyze digitalization initiative needs and balance competing interests; determine the resources needed to meet objectives and prioritize resources to solve problems.
    • Negotiate solution delivery timelines; ensure they are realistic for the IT Project engineers and acceptable to business stakeholders
    • Across the organization, educate process owners on how to identify and solve process challenges. Work with process owners and other business stakeholders to enable them to understand IT Project capabilities.
    • Mobilize relevant IT Project resources to deliver on project initiatives
    • Foster commitment, team spirit, resilience, and trust
    • Manage conflict swiftly toward a win-win solution.

    Functional:

    • Manage all service level agreements (SLAs) as regards IT Project services to all entities within the organisation
    • Produce high quality business requirement specification and design documents which accurately reflect business needs and can be clearly understood by all stakeholders.
    • Develop business process models that will facilitate process objectives.
    • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Tests (UATs)
    • Develop business cases for IT Projects and monitor the benefits realization process
    • Submit a weekly performance report on the digitalization initiative roadmap

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University
    • Minimum of 5-8 years’ relevant experience in financial services
    • ITIL foundation.

    Competency and Skill Requirements:

    • Working knowledge of the ITIL methodology; service strategy, service operations and continual service improvement
    • Expert level in use-case model development, interface prototyping and business case development
    • Exceptional communication skills – written, oral, interpersonal, and business presentation skills

    Leadership Competencies:

    • Strong stakeholder management skills
    • Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
