Job Description

• General Maintenance Officer is typically include a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring that buildings and equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly.
• The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical maintenance, including but not limited to, replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g., wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g., replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).
• Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.).
• Assist in the procurement of supplies and materials to complete all tasks.
• Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the building.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess minimum of an OND qualification with 3 - 8 years relevant work experience.

Job Description

• A waiter / Waitress is responsible for ensuring a guest in a restaurant, bar, or other dining area has a positive experience at Limewood Villa hotel establishments by exhibiting excellent customer service.
• Your duties include greeting guests and taking their orders, communicating with members of the kitchen about orders, and carrying meals or beverages to the correct tables.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and escort them to their tablesand taking drink and food orders.
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies).
• Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area.
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization.
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.
• Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests.
• Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests.
• Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
• Performing shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris and more.
• Inform customers about the day’s specials.
• Offer menu recommendations upon request.
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
• Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties).
• Follow all relevant health department regulations.
