    Senior Buyer M/F

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The Senior Buyer is directly responsible for the successful delivery of the Contracts, Material Services and Procurements assigned to his/her responsibility including the tender, award and post award management of the material deliveries, including expediting to anticipate and mitigate schedule deviations

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To provide a professional procurement service, suitable candidate:
    • Must pay particular attention to ensure that project procedures are strictly followed so that no contention can be raised at a later date.
    • Shall also keep the Ima Contracts and Procurement Manager fully appraised of all developments that may impact the successful delivery of the Procurements under his/her responsibility.
    • Where necessary, candidate shall liaise with Contracts Engineer / Buyers responsible for the Packages to ensure procurement interface matters are identified and appropriately managed and to assist with achieving a consistent approach across packages as far as is practicable.
    • Shall work proactively and closely with Package Managers, Planners and other team members to issue Purchase Orders (PO), expedite all along the delivery lead time and successfully deliver the project procurements.
    • Proactive skills are a must.

    PRE-ORDER - (UP TO PO AWARD):

    • Directly responsible for the contractual and administrative aspects of the call for tender of the Contracts / POs under his/her responsibility

    PO FOLLOW UP - (FROM PO AWARD TO FINAL DELIVERY / PAYMENT):

    • Directly responsible for ensuring the Material Procurements are duly expedited and PO is followed through conclusively to payment.

    CONTRACT/PROCUREMENT DATABASE

    • Responsible for maintaining a database which tracks existence and the evolution of the procured materials, stock items, change orders, certificates, approvals, goods receipt and the like during the life of the project for the Procurements under his/her responsibility

    SAP CONTRACTUAL DATA

    • Responsible for the maintenance of all contractual data necessary to be recorded in SAP and shared drives for establishing commitments, their follow up and invoice payment for the POs under his/her responsibility.

    ACCOUNTBAILITIES:

    • Organize his job in full respect and within the limit of defined and approved planning & budgets.
    • Have good and proactive relationships with other Departments / Packages of the Division.
    • Have good relationships with other TEPNG entities such as CPNC, Strategy and Planning Division, Production Division, Drilling and Completion Division, Engineering, Project and Modifications Division.
    • Ensure a transversal way of working, in a good team spirit.

    Planning and Reporting Engineer M/F

    Job description

    SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Planning and Reporting Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria.

    • The job holder is responsible for all the scheduling, planning and progress measurement activities for the Ima project, and for the reporting at project level all along the life of the project.
    • Supervising, controlling, and coordinating the activities related to Work Packages schedule and plan with associated progress measurement; this includes the development of an integrated project schedule, supervision of scheduling and progress measurement activities during the Execution phase.
    • Developing and maintaining schedules at project level, with analysis of critical path and potential clashes and proposal of remedial actions/solutions.
    • Ensuring availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation.
    • Provide assistance to the Project Management for all matters related to scheduling and progress reporting and general reporting, and to manage all activities related to scheduling and reporting.
    • To develop, implement and maintain procedures, means and tools in order to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the scheduling, progress control and reporting activities
    • To define (and update as necessary) a suitable Work Breakdown Structure complying with Project needs in terms of progress control, cost control and reporting, for all phases of the Project
    • To develop, update and revise the overall integrated Project Schedules as required by Project Management, and to provide analyses and simulations of new schedules also as required
    • To assist Packages to review and comment contractors’ procedures linked to schedules and progress control methodology.
    • To monitor contractors’ execution schedule, to check and approve contractors’ progress measurement and progress reports.
    • To define coordinate and supervise the development of detailed and accurate Project Monthly Report / Project Weekly Report (and any other report as requested) during all phases of Project
    • To identify and monitor Project risk associated with potential cost and schedule impacts.
    • The job holder shall liaise actively with all the Project Package Managers (mainly) for all scheduling and progress measurement related activities
    • The job holder shall observe and shall impose strict confidentiality during the tendering phase and as a general manner all along the course of the Project.
    • To timely report to the Project Control Manager, highlighting progress and encountered areas of concern.

    • Languages: English mandatory
