    Facility Manager - Restaurant

    Job Description

    • Assure the effective functioning of a facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the company

    Functional Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
    • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as well as food handling
    • Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
    • Coordinate intra-office moves
    • Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
    • Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
    • Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking
    • Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
    • Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
    • Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
    • Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving
    • Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
    • Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met
    • Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
    • Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
    • Prepare and track facility budget

    Admin and HR Manager - Restaurant

    Job Description

    • Performing administrative and clerical duties, responsible for facility security, leads the human resources practice and objectives that will provide the recruitment process and develop an ongoing superior workforce.
    • Responsible for moulding the performance and development practice for all staff in the restaurant, design and support the restaurant’s talent management framework which include management of performance and human resource planning while administering the human resources services for the restaurant.

    Functional Responsibilities
    Coordination of the restaurant’s activities in an accurate, effective and timely manner through:

    • Participation in the restaurant’s strategic planning meetings, coordinating team meetings and documenting minutes of meetings
    • Closely work with all restaurant staff, checking daily time record of employees
    • Operates office equipment such as computers, printers, etc
    • Monitors the implementation of company policies and procedures

    Performance of administrative and clerical support to the Operations Manager:

    • Helps in making the staff schedule and schedule distribution that include the employees’ work and achievements
    • Produces internal and external reports relevant for decision making
    • Daily review of progress for targets

    Development of the HR function:

    • To develop the quality of human resources, build a strong HR department
    • To inculcate personal development among all the employees
    • To ensure the safety of the staff
    • Record punctuality, document absences and tardiness, and evaluate employee work performance
    • To develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement and high performance
    • Oversees the HR programs and see to it that the same is well implemented, monitor the standards and procedure as well as identify improvements for the administration of the restaurant

    Coordinates reporting and communication strategies by:

    • Ensuring safety of all confidential files
    • Stores and distributes information for staff and customers
    • Records and maintains up to date database for staff and customers.

    Company Accountant (Restaurant)

    Job Brief

    • Tasked with the responsibility to contribute to the efficient and effective works of the accounting department through executing daily tasks with a strong attention to detail, strong accounting knowledge, time management skills.

    Functional Responsibilities

    • Cash handling functions for the restaurant and reconcile all cash dropped at the counter
    • Analyse revenues, commissions and expenses and prepare the monthly financial statements
    • Prepare the annual and monthly budgets and ensure monitors adherence to budget through monthly performance reviews
    • Prepare a cashflow projection for the restaurant and manage the cash position
    • Assist with preparing tax returns and complying with corporate reporting requirements
    • Assist with financial and tax audits
    • Banking, processing bank deposits and all associated finance entries
    • Processing the employees expense reports
    • Verifying if the expenses are within the company guidelines and correcting errors
    • Questioning abnormal expenses and entering into the accounting system
    • Reviews any outstanding invoices on statements.
    • Recording monthly revenues and expenses; received and disbursed including account receivables, account payable, payroll, audit, general ledger reporting.
    • Recording of daily cash activity.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an M.Sc / B.Sc / HND qualification.
    • Experience: 4 - 6 years work experience.

    Customer Service Manager - Restaurant

    Job Overview and Duties

    • Receive calls and maintain relationships with both existing & potential customers
    • Engage in customer retention strategies
    • Help in day to day decision making to come up policies as it relates to customer service
    • Serve as middle person between the customers and business department
