    Education and Innovation Manager

    Description 

    • We are seeking an Education and Innovation Manager to lead and oversee her education and innovation programs, driving positive change in underserved communities.
    • The Education and Innovation Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education for underserved communities in leading educational initiatives, developing innovative approaches, and collaborating with stakeholders to create lasting impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop comprehensive education plans, strategies, and goals in alignment with Slum2School's mission.
    • Design and implement effective educational programs catering to the needs of slum-dwelling children.
    • Ensure compliance with educational standards, policies, and guidelines.
    • Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve objectives.
    • Lead the development of tailored educational curricula for slum communities.
    • Collaborate with educators to create engaging learning materials.
    • Foster innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote community involvement.
    • Establish partnerships with institutions and organizations to leverage resources.
    • Review program performance and implement necessary adjustments.
    • Raise learners as advocates in conferences and industry events.
    • Organize community events and awareness campaigns.

    Reporting Relationship:

    • The Education and Innovative Manager will report to the Executive Director.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of related experience.
    • Specialization in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or related fields.
    • Proven leadership experience.
    • Experience in program design and implementation.
    • Proficiency in monitoring and evaluating programs.
    • Community engagement experience.

    Skills and Competence:

    • Strong understanding of education principles and curriculum development.
    • Innovative thinking and familiarity with educational challenges.
    • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and program improvement.
    • Competence in program planning and evaluation.
    • Time management and multitasking skills.
    • Self-starter with initiative and discretion.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Professionalism and strong communication skills.

    Finance & Procurement Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee financial operations and procurement activities.
    • Develop financial policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Manage budgets, monitor performance, and provide insightful reports.
    • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for strategic decisions.
    • Drive efficient cash flow management and timely fund disbursement.
    • Implement procurement strategies for cost-effective sourcing.
    • Oversee the procurement process, from selection to vendor management.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting standards.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Proficiency in accounting principles, reconciliation, and financial statements.

    • Mastery of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
    • Proficient in managing budgets, financial performance, and recommendations.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Familiarity with procurement regulations and best practices.
    • Agile in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
    • Independent and proactive with sound judgment.
    • Analytical with a commitment to rigor.
    • Professionalism and empathy in diverse team environments.

    Reporting Relationship:

    • The Finance and Procurement Manager will report to the Executive Director.
