    Commerical Sales Manager (Temporary)

    • If you are a dynamic finance professional with appetite and track records in value creation in Nigeria’s energy sector, this position is for you.
    • In this role as Commercial Sales Manager, you will contribute to Siemens Energy’s success in the region by supporting sales activities with proposal management, offer calculation and preparation, invoicing and project costs control, project financial performance analysis, translating them into value propositions for our customers and assisting the executing units with your financial management strategy.
    • Key tasks include managing accounts and customer relationships from a commercial point of view, developing sales proposals, negotiating, and closing deals, and acting as voice of the customers internally. Support Sales activities from a commercial perspective ensuring that tenders, proposals, and offers are in line with the Siemens Energy business processes and guidelines.

    • You will work on grid technologies business portfolio consisting of high voltage power supply products, systems, solutions, and services. You will work with the team to achieve sales target, project execution and delivery, profit optimization and exceeding customer’s expectations.     How You’ll Make An Impact

    • Supports financial and commercial activities within the scope of the applicable business processes for sales and bidding.
    • Prepares all necessary financial/commercial documents for the sales and bidding process, e.g. contract analysis, evaluation of risks, project selection, bid/no-bid decision.
    • Performs sales and proposal procedures and processes to ensure optimized productivity and increase customer satisfaction.
    • Ensures contract Management / Contract Structuring for internal and external business (Contract Analysis, clarifications, deviations, tax analysis, contractual risk evaluation, insurance concepts).
    • Supports the sales team on internal bid management process.
    • Ensure that the Contract terms and conditions (together with Legal review) are aligned, ensuring contractual risks are correctly presented.
    • Analyzes contracts risks and mitigation plans. Ensure that all risks accepted from the Customer are mitigated through internal processes.
    • Supports sales and technical partners in commercial and financial matters.
    • Undertakes project costs control.

    What You Bring

    • Chartered accountant and finance professional with relevant experience in the power, engineering, and construction industry, with at least 7years of experience.
    • Sales administration experience, commercial project management experience, understanding legal terms and conditions, offer preparation and proposal management.
    • Presentation and Communication Skills with both Customers, Vendors, Management, and Internal colleagues.
    • Analytical and Negotiation Skills with both Customers and Vendors.
    • Solid professional judgement and problem-solving competence.

    Functional Controlling Professional (Finance)

    A Snapshot of Your Day

    • Support operation Controlling, Budget, Forecasting, Fixed Asset management, projects reviews and resolution. performs monthly and quarterly closing and prepares the management reports focusing on the KPIs.

    How You’ll Make An Impact

    • Closing & Financial Reporting: Processing of master data, Period end closing activities, Preparation of BS/PL/CF (IFRS & Local GAAP), Reporting Esprit & ADSTAR and any other required reports.
    • Fixed Asset: Master Data processing, processing of Fixed asset (Addition, Disposal, Depreciation, transfers, etc), Reconciliation of GL, FA stock taking (Prep & Follow up), FA stock taking (Physical count), Local regulation in addition to Financial Reporting guidelines & circulars.
    • Prepares draft Audited Financial Statement and co-ordinate the annual statutory audit with External Auditors.
    • Operational Controlling; BA Support Function Controlling (Corporate Units).
    • Support Business areas with projects overview and resolution.
    • Coordinates the bi-weekly receivable meeting with the Business Units.
    • Support HOAC on the review of annual budgets and monthly forecast submitted by the Business Units as well as coordinating the annual investment business plan.
    • Monitors the balance sheet review in preparation for the quarterly review with the Hub.
    • Prepares the monthly management report analysing the actual versus forecast/budget for all the KPIs.
    • Any other tasks assigned by HOAC.

    What You Bring

    • Experience in creating and reporting extensive financials, ability to deliver results with low levels of supervision, impeccable attention to details, Integrity and principles-based work ethics, proficiency with Microsoft office applications.
    • Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
    • Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant with recognized Accounting Certifications (CIMA, ACA, ICAN, ACCA).
    • Experience: 10+ years, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
