    Human Resource Officer

    Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children with special needs, particularly those diagnosed with Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD. We are committed to providing support, resources, and opportunities for these children to thrive.

    As an HR Associate at Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization\'s human resources functions. This position requires a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient operations, as well as provide support to employees and management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
    • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.
    • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
    • Coordinate employee training and development programs, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and evaluating effectiveness.
    • Support the performance management process, including assisting with goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
    • Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, and diversity and inclusion programs.
    • Assist with HR compliance activities, including maintaining knowledge of employment laws and regulations and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents, maintaining files, and responding to inquiries.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
    • Previous experience in an HR role or related positions is desirable.
    • Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and best practices is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information and interact with employees at all levels.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
    • Proficiency in using HR software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain employee confidentiality.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle employee inquiries and HR-related issues.
    • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or other HR software is a plus.
    • Availability for occasional travel to remote sites, if required.
