    Brand Manager - FMCG

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a dynamicBrand Managerto own and drive the growth of Givanas Group’s FMCG brands.
    • You will lead brand strategy, product innovation, marketing campaigns, and performance management to deliver measurable business impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute brand strategies to grow market share and profitability.
    • Lead product development, packaging, and innovation initiatives.
    • Conduct market and consumer research to inform brand positioning.
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital, trade).
    • Monitor brand performance, analyze sales data, and benchmark competitors.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
    • Manage brand budgets and ensure ROI on marketing initiatives.
    • Drive consumer engagement and maintain relationships with agencies, distributors, and retail partners.
    • Ensure brand compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

    Key KPIs

    • Brand growth and market share increase
    • Sales and revenue impact of marketing campaigns
    • ROI on ATL, BTL, and digital initiatives

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields (MBA is a plus)
    • 4–5 years of FMCG brand management experience
    • Proven success managing multiple FMCG brands or categories
    • Experience in launching products and executing full product lifecycle campaigns
    • Deep understanding of Nigerian and West African FMCG markets
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; marketing analytics tools a plus
    • Professional certifications (CIM, NIMN) are advantageous.

    Regional Sales Manager, North

    Job Summary

    • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales operations and distributor management across the Northern region.
    • The ideal candidate will drive volume growth, expand market share, manage sales teams, and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and wholesalers.
    • This role requires a results-driven individual who understands the dynamics of soap and detergent distribution within open/general trade markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet and exceed volume and revenue targets.
    • Supervise, train, and monitor the performance of Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and Field Merchandisers in the region.
    • Drive numeric and weighted distribution through effective route-to-market execution.
    • Lead market penetration and competitive mapping to identify new growth opportunities.
    • Manage relationships with major distributors and ensure efficient stock movement and credit control.
    • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities, ensuring proper reporting from the field.
    • Prepare and manage the regional budget, including sales forecasting and territory planning.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 7 - 10 years experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
    • Strong experience in managing general trade and distributor-driven sales operations in Northern Nigeria.
    • Proven track record of delivering volume growth and market share targets.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One) is an advantage.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
