Job Summary 

• Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software
• Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts
• Collaborating with art directors, branding experts, front end developers, marketing, content and other professionals to create media
• Articulating and pitching design concepts to clients, art directors and others
• Translating client needs and branding strategies into design strategies
• Designing visual content for websites, social media, blogs, and other platforms
• Collaborating with different teams to ensure visual designs aid the overall brand direction.

Responsibilities

• Translate a variety of documents from Chinese to English and vice versa
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of translated content
• Edit and proofread translated materials to ensure quality
• Research and familiarize with industry-specific terminology
• Communicate with clients and team members to clarify translation requirements and expectations
• Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with current language and cultural trends to improve translation skills
• Provide cultural consulting and linguistic support to clients as needed.

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Proven working experience as a Chinese Translator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• In-depth knowledge of Chinese culture and customs
• Proficient in using translation software and tools
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity while translating sensitive documents.
