Job Summary

• We are looking for a passionate, skilled, and experienced Guitar Instructor to teach students of different skill levels. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons, inspire students to develop their musical abilities, and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach acoustic and/or electric guitar to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.
• Prepare structured lesson plans based on students' learning levels.
• Teach music theory, chords, scales, rhythm, finger techniques, and performance skills.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Motivate and encourage students to achieve their learning goals.
• Prepare students for performances, examinations, and recitals where applicable.
• Maintain discipline and professionalism during classes.
• Ensure proper care and handling of guitars and other instructional materials.
• Keep attendance and progress records for students.
• Collaborate with management on class schedules and student development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Guitar Instructor or professional guitarist.
• Good knowledge of music theory and guitar techniques.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills.
• Ability to teach students of different age groups and learning abilities.
• Patient, creative, and passionate about music education.
• Relevant music qualifications are an added advantage.
• Applicants must reside in Festac or its environs for easy commute.
