Responsibilities

• Calculation of VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension and other taxable according to Nigeria law.
• Ensure the effectiveness of the Account payable process which includes checking of documents, cost, approvals and payments.
• To liaise with customers, vendors, bankers, consultants, FIRS/LIRS or other government officials for data and other matters.
• Responding to requests for information and resolving issues swiftly.
• Answering client queries on invoicing and visiting clients when required.
• Following up with payments and bill submission.
• Provide necessary documentation and support during internal audits.
• Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile.
• Manage invoices and ensure that payments are made according to the company policies.
• Experience in data and vendor management.

Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related fields.
• Experience: 2-3 years.

Duties

• Provide financial information to management, and by preparing reports.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Recommend financial actions to management after an in-depth analysis of accounting options.
• Keep up-to-date financial information relating to balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of any financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepare Final Accounts.
• Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Perform all other major task as assigned. Etc.

Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related fields.
• A chartered Accountant (compulsory)
• Experience: 5 - 8 years.
