Job Summary

• A Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience through prompt, courteous, and professional service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests politely and guide them to their seats.
• Present menus and provide accurate information on food and drink items.
• Take food and beverage orders correctly and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests during service to ensure satisfaction.
• Clear tables, reset them, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Ensure proper table setting according to hotel or restaurant standards.
• Handle guest complaints or requests politely and report issues to the supervisor.
• Process bills accurately and handle payments when required.
• Observe hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Service Standards & Conduct:

• Maintain good personal grooming and wear a clean uniform.
• Resume duty on time and follow assigned duty rosters.
• Communicate politely and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Prevent wastage and handle service equipment carefully.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant or bar.
• Support team members to ensure smooth service operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Candidates must reside within the following locations:

• Wilmer, Apapa
• Olodi, Apapa
• Boundary, Ajegunle
• Festac and its environs.

Salary
N50,000 - N70,000 per month.
