UI/UX Designer at FCSL Asset Management Company

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Understand the nature of company products and services
• Lead user research efforts to understand our users’ behaviors, needs, and motivations, utilizing various research methods
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively
• Design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency across all platforms
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles to create welcoming experiences to all users
• Collect and incorporate user feedback and iterate on designs to enhance user satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, developers) to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business objectives
• Maintain and evolve existing design systems and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Stay updated on UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, integrating them into the design process where applicable
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that design requirements are met throughout the entire product development lifecycle
• Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, UI components libraries to ensure consistency and scalability of design assets.

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION  

• B.Sc. in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in interaction and visual design; user-centered design principles; and experience designing interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to present concepts clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility guidelines, usability principles, and interaction design best practices
• Experience with user research techniques, usability testing methodologies, and prototyping tools
• Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
