Trade/Export Officer (Male) at PG Consulting Limited

Our client, BRC certified premium cashew processing company in West Africa processing over 30,000 tons of raw cashew nuts in Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire is in need of a seasoned, well-grounded Export Officer with proven track record of export experience in Nigeria to join is team.

Job Description

• Export Documentation from Pro-forma Invoice, NXP, BL, Customs document.
• Managing the seamless movement of the consignments to the port and then the destination
• Administering export procedures and documentation and effective liaison with Nigerian Customs, sales departments, cashew plants, and Logistics department, etc;
• Coordinating with government Authorities for various requirements connected to the export handling

·         Establish Incoterms for shipments that comply with transfer of ownership and liability agreements between shipper and consignee.

·         Ensure all shipping documents (BL, Invoice, PL, Phyto, Fumigation, Gas free, Health, COO, COA) are mailed to customer for approval

·         Ensure prompt response to new developments within the import/export sector of the economy.

·         Ensure loading of goods is in line with Shipping Instructions of the customer

• To meet the end line of shipment as per schedule
• Ensure zero detention charges for empty containers
• Maintain control and ensure regulations to all import and export processes and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all-new custom requirements and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures

Qualifications / Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Business Administration or supply chain management.
• 5 -7 years’ experience working in an exports company/C&F agent primarily doing exports
• 30 – 40 years of age
• Male preferred
• Ready to start immediately
• Should have a good network and relationship in Inspection agency, Customs, Port authorities, shipping lines
• Should be based in & around Mowe, Ogun State or ready to re-locate in Mowe immediately
• Understanding of processes and stakeholders in export environment.
• Strong attention to details.
• Charisma, presence and strong communication skills
