    Telesales Representative

    Job description

    • We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Telesales Representative to join our Retail Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, managing sales calls, closing deals, and maintaining excellent client relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a keen understanding of the sales process in a fast-paced environment.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Generate and qualify leads through outbound cold calls
    • Track, manage, and follow up on leads effectively
    • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and sales presentations
    • Close sales in line with set monthly sales goals
    • Produce daily and monthly sales activity reports
    • Collaborate with Affiliate Sales teams for lead generation

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Handle sales transactions and respond to customer inquiries
    • Provide both pre-sale and post-sale customer service
    • Maintain and build strong client relationships
    • Serve as the key contact for customer-facing business functions
    • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Sales target achievement
    • Lead conversion rate
    • Speed and quality of service
    • Customer satisfaction and retention
    • Reporting accuracy and timeliness

    Requirements

    Education: B.Sc, HND in Sales, Marketing, Sciences, or any related field
    Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field or telesales
    Competencies:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
    • Good understanding of telecoms and ICT in the Nigerian market
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure
    • Customer-focused, professional, and result-oriented
