    Information Technology Application Manager

    What You’ll Do:

    • Provide 1st-level support, resolving issues swiftly in line with defined OLAs.
    • Manage and monitor service desk tickets, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
    • Coordinate the setup of new staff with HR, Admin, and SCM for seamless onboarding.

    Data Centre Power Systems Technician

    Role Purpose

    • The Data Centre Power Systems Technician is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and repair of all electrical power systems across ipNX’s Data Centres and Points of Presence (POP). This role ensures uninterrupted power availability and quality, enabling reliable service delivery and operational efficiency for co-location and IT infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate and maintain various electrical power systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, rectifiers, inverters, transformers, AVR, ATS units, and PDU/PMM units.
    • Execute preventive maintenance schedules and perform corrective actions to resolve faults, either directly or in coordination with vendors.
    • Continuously monitor power system operations across Data Centres and POPs, responding promptly to abnormalities.
    • Track and document operational characteristics and incidents for audit and SLA compliance purposes.
    • Support colocation service efficiency by following established change and incident management processes in line with ITIL standards.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Preventive maintenance tasks completed on schedule and accurately documented
    • Minimal downtime of power infrastructure across all facilities
    • SLA compliance in reporting and incident resolution
    • Timely detection and resolution of power system anomalies
    • High accuracy and completeness of audit documentation

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
    • Relevant certifications or training in electrical power systems installation, maintenance, or repair
    • Solid knowledge of equipment installation, mechanical repairs, safety standards, and compliance protocols
    • Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault analysis
    • Comfortable working in low-temperature environments and lifting up to 20kg
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
    • Strong communication and documentation skills
    • Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal teams and third-party service providers

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years in a Data Centre operations environment or similar infrastructure-focused role

    • As the OSP Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and civil work activities of ipNX’s fiber optic outside plant (OSP) network. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring optimal network performance, driving fast service restoration, and maintaining solid relationships with corporate clients, retail customers, and local authorities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the restoration of service faults:
    • Corporate customers: within 3 hours
    • Retail customers: within 12 hours

    • Monitor and report FTTH network performance, ensuring MTTR improvement

    Project Supervisor-Deployment

    • The Project Supervisor is responsible for leading the planning, execution, supervision, and successful delivery of fiber infrastructure projects—both GPON and P2P. The role involves daily site supervision, direct contractor engagement, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and final service integration and testing to ensure timely, high-quality, and efficient service delivery in line with ipNX standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Take ownership of assigned projects, review project design packs, and align contractors with project objectives and timelines.
    • Plan and supervise all project activities, ensuring timely civil works execution, compliance with quality standards, and adherence to safety regulations.
    • Monitor and report daily progress, material movements, installation quality, and potential delays.
    • Engage stakeholders including estate/facility managers and residents, proactively managing expectations and resolving issues.
    • Conduct final integration and commissioning of service terminals (GPON/P2P) within acceptable signal loss limits.
    • Submit all required project documentation—including kickoff, milestone, splice, and OTDR test reports—within 24 hours of task completion.

    Key Deliverables

    • Project design review and planning completed within 24 hours of assignment
    • Kickoff meetings and work plans executed within 72 hours of project assignment
    • Daily updates and accurate reporting throughout project duration
    • Projects completed within SLA timelines and scope requirements

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Telecoms, Engineering, or Applied Sciences
    • Certifications in Fibre Optics (CFOT/FOA) and HSE Grade III are added advantages
    • Strong technical proficiency in OTDR, power meters, LSPM, and fiber termination
