    OSP Supervisor

    Job description

    • As the OSP Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and civil work activities of ipNX’s fiber optic outside plant (OSP) network. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring optimal network performance, driving fast service restoration, and maintaining solid relationships with corporate clients, retail customers, and local authorities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the restoration of service faults:
    • Corporate customers: within 3 hours
    • Retail customers: within 12 hours
    • Proactively plan and execute preventive maintenance on the fiber network
    • Monitor and report FTTH network performance, ensuring MTTR improvement
    • Supervise civil work projects and ensure adherence to quality standards
    • Manage FOS customer activations within 3 days of signup
    • Provide timely incident reports and weekly operations updates

    What You Bring:

    • A degree in Telecoms, Engineering, or Applied Sciences
    • At least 2 years of telecom experience, especially in fiber network deployment
    • Strong knowledge of FTTx/P2P fibre technologies, OTDR, LSPM, splicing, and VFL
    • Ability to interpret fiber network designs and produce accurate documentation
    • Working knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Project, and GIS/AutoCAD/Visio tools
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
    • Familiarity with Right of Way (ROW) licensing and Nigerian civil work regulations
