Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and supportive Technical Drawing teacher to join our educational institution in Benin City, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in the principles and practices of technical drawing, preparing them for careers in engineering, architecture, and related fields.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans on technical drawing concepts and techniques
• Teach students how to use industry-standard CAD software and traditional drawing tools
• Provide hands-on instruction in creating precise technical drawings and blueprints
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall curriculum
• Stay updated on the latest developments in technical drawing and related technologies
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to foster their growth and skill development
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Technical Drawing teacher or in a similar role
• Strong drawing and sketching abilities
• In-depth knowledge of technical drawing standards and conventions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Effective classroom management abilities
• Understanding of engineering principles and architectural design concepts
• Industry experience in engineering or architecture is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
