• Are experienced with  technical writing, can break down complex concepts, and clearly communicate them to a target audience for educational purposes
• Deeply understand the role of core CS fundamentals in technology careers and can identify what is missing in this area across African tertiary education
• Can resourcefully and efficiently build a curriculum from the ground up, and with pedagogy and delivery in mind. Can leverage the public domain, subject matter experts e.t.c in the process
• Have experience working/ supporting related curriculum development projects or tech learning programs such as ALC, HNG, etc

You are a fit for this role if you are a guru in (or have a flare for) technical writing with expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies. Your previous experience working on or supporting related curriculum-building projects or tech learning programs such as ALC, HNG, etc. will be a great asset.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify the industry skills, knowledge, and learning gaps for CS fundamentals at the tertiary level
• Identify the industry skills, knowledge, and learning gaps for software engineering at the tertiary level  
• Lead the design of a detailed and structured educational curriculum, training manual, and content  production targeting the tertiary level,
• Set learning objectives for each module and determine evaluation criteria 
• Identify and prepare learning resources for learning instructors as required
• Engage stakeholders to ensure successful completion and delivery 

Qualifications

What election requirements

• 5+ years of proven work experience as a Technical Curriculum developer/manager, Engineer or Developer Advocate
• Experience working on curriculum for large-scale learning and growth programs such as ALC, HNG, e.t.c 
• Experience delivering curriculum targeting tertiary level 
• Understanding of core CS subjects/domain areas
• Experience with technical writing or technical content production
• Experience in Edtech is an advantage
