    Solar System Installation Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Local Project Installation and Commissioning: Responsible for on-site survey, solution implementation, installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems (lithium batteries, inverters, photovoltaic panels, etc.) within Nigeria to ensure stable and efficient system operation.
    • Local After-Sales Service Response: Handle after-sales repair requests from Nigerian customers, quickly dispatch personnel to the site to troubleshoot equipment failures, complete repairs and parts replacement, and minimize customer downtime as much as possible.
    • Customer Training and Communication: Provide customers with professional training on equipment operation and daily maintenance in the local language, promptly answer customer questions, and maintain good customer relationships.
    • Fault Case Compilation: Record installation data of local projects, causes of equipment failures, and solutions to create a standardized case library to support technical optimization of the branch.
    • Responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer operation training of local solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Educational Background and Major: Associate Degree or above; candidates majoring in Electrical Engineering, Automation, New Energy Technology, Mechatronics, or related fields are preferred.
    • Skills and Experience: Familiar with the working principles of solar photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems; proficient in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of equipment such as inverters and lithium battery packs; able to independently read circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams; proficient in using common testing tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes; candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience in photovoltaic, energy storage, or power equipment installation and maintenance are preferred; candidates holding an electrician license or other relevant professional qualification certificates are preferred.
    • Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Hausa, Yoruba, or other commonly used Nigerian languages is preferred.
    • Requirements include the ability to read electrical drawings, proficient use of testing tools, fluency in English, and willingness to travel domestically and work outdoors, contributing to the localization of the company’s new energy services.
