    Consultant Ophthalmologist

    Job Summary

    • Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care services and support the continued growth of our specialist clinical services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of eye diseases and visual disorders.
    • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and interpret ophthalmic investigations.
    • Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of practice.
    • Manage outpatient, inpatient, and emergency ophthalmic cases.
    • Develop individualised treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practice.
    • Collaborate with other specialists to provide integrated patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
    • Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives.
    • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.

    Requirements

    Quality Assurance Lead (Medical Doctor)

    Job Summary

    • Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV) is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and quality-driven Medical Doctor to join our team as Quality Assurance Lead.
    • This role is responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives across the hospital, ensuring compliance with clinical and operational standards, identifying quality gaps, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement that enhances patient safety and clinical outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the hospital’s Quality Management System.
    • Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
    • Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and process reviews across all departments.
    • Identify, investigate, and escalate quality, patient safety, and compliance issues promptly.
    • Perform root cause analyses and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
    • Review clinical documentation and medical records for quality and compliance.
    • Monitor quality indicators, analyse trends, and prepare reports for leadership.
    • Support incident reporting, investigations, and quality improvement projects.
    • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

    Requirements

    • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a current licence to practise.

    • Strong understanding of healthcare quality standards, clinical governance, infection prevention, and patient safety principles.
    • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

    Head of Nursing

    Description

    • This is a strategic leadership role for someone who is passionate about transforming nursing practice, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring that every patient receives safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all nursing services across the hospital.
    • Develop and implement nursing policies, standards, and clinical protocols aligned with best practices.
    • Drive a culture of quality, patient safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse (RN/RM) with a current practising licence.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.NSc); a Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field is strongly preferred.
    • At least 5 years in a senior nursing leadership role, such as Nursing Manager, Assistant head of Nursing, or Head of Nursing..
    • Strong knowledge of nursing administration, clinical governance, patient safety, quality improvement, and healthcare regulations.
    • Demonstrated success in leading organisational change and improving clinical outcomes.
    • Excellent leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
    • Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
