Social Media Manager at Vendor Perk Ltd

As a Social Media Manager at Vendor Perk, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to boost brand awareness, engage with event planners and vendors, and drive user adoption. You’ll own content creation, community management, and analytics while collaborating with the marketing and product teams to ensure a strong digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with VendorPerk’s brand vision and business goals.
• Create and manage content calendars, ensuring consistency across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok).
• Identify key trends in the Nigerian event industry to shape content and engagement strategies.

Content Creation & Management

• Develop engaging and high-quality content (graphics, videos, reels, carousels, stories, and captions) that resonates with our target audience.
• Write compelling copy tailored to different platforms and audience segments.
• Work with designers and photographers to create visually appealing content.
• Schedule and publish content, optimizing for engagement and reach.

Community Engagement & Growth

• Actively engage with users, vendors, and event planners through comments, messages, and discussions.
• Build and nurture relationships with influencers, event professionals, and vendors.
• Run interactive campaigns, contests, and live sessions to grow engagement.
• Monitor brand mentions and conversations, responding timely to inquiries.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

• Track social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) using analytics tools.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve content strategy based on data.
• Conduct A/B testing on content formats, posting times, and engagement tactics.
• Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Paid Social & Influencer Marketing

• Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to boost visibility and lead generation.
• Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers in the event planning industry.
• Track and report ROI on paid and influencer marketing initiatives.

Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in event planning, tech, or lifestyle brands.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian event culture, industry trends, and vendor networks.
• Proven track record of growing social media accounts and increasing engagement.
• Proficiency in content creation tools.
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Experience running paid social media campaigns is a plus.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and partnership strategies.
