Shift Manager - Ikoyi at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and lead restaurant staff during assigned shifts, including wait staff, kitchen crew, and cashiers.
• Ensure all operations are running smoothly, and service is delivered promptly.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring supplies are available for each shift.
• Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that staff adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with the training and development of new and current employees.
• Manage staff schedules to ensure optimal staffing during busy periods.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
• Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Conduct daily shift briefings with the team to review objectives and goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of OND
• 1-2 years' experience in a fine dining restaurant or 5-star hotel restaurant
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Must be presentable and well-groomed
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
