Job Summary:

•  The Senior Medical Officer supports the Principal Medical Officer in managing clinical activities and supervises Medical Officers.
• This role involves direct patient care and operational oversight to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Medical Officers and ensure their compliance with clinical duties.
• Conduct daily ward rounds and on-call rounds as scheduled.
• Assist in the review and management of complex cases.
• Provide guidance to Medical Officers on patient management and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Contribute to departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Act as the lead on shifts during the absence of the Principal Medical Officer.
• Collaborate with the Medical Claims/Billing Unit to ensure accurate claims submission.
• Participate in performance reviews for junior staff, contributing insights for improvement.

Requirements:

• MBBS degree with 6-9 years of clinical experience.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
