    Senior Marketing Campaign Manager

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and executing a comprehensive annual campaign calendar, coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with our company’s strategic objectives and the successful delivery of marketing and PR initiatives.
    • This role is pivotal in driving PalmPay's brand and product awareness in Nigeria, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Campaign Development and Management: Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns. This includes setting clear objectives, developing creative concepts, working in tandem with management and key stakeholders at every phase of the campaign lifecycle, and overseeing the campaign lifecycle from conception to analysis.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively collaborate with internal teams (including product, sales, and compliance) and external partners (such as telcos, billers and merchants) to gather insights and align campaign strategies with relevant KPIs. Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders, including frequent consultations and transparent updates to ensure their buy-in and active participation throughout the campaign lifecycle.
    • Budget Management: Prepare and propose detailed campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact. Identify, negotiate with and project manage relevant agencies for media buying. Monitor and report on expenditure, maintaining financial discipline and focus on campaign KPIs.
    • Project Management: Ensure timely progression and completion of campaign tasks and KPIs. Utilize project management methodologies to track deliverables, deadlines, and overall campaign performance, while keeping all parties informed and engaged and being responsive and adaptable to any changes.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Produce regular progress reports and comprehensive post-campaign analyses to evaluate effectiveness, draw insights, and inform future strategies.
    • Partnership Development: Engage with potential co-marketing partners, presenting PalmPay's value proposition to foster collaborative opportunities. Draft and negotiate proposals under the guidance of management, securing mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Project Leadership and Coordination: Coordinate the participation of marketing, PR and design staff as well as any external consultants and agencies in campaigns, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a top university with at least 2.1 grade.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience, with experience successfully coordinating multiple stakeholders essential.
    • Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-faceted marketing and communication campaigns.
    • Strong project management skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Deep understanding of contemporary marketing and PR best practices and consumer behavior in Africa.
    • Proficiency in using excel/google sheets for budget management, project management and marketing analytics.
    • Creative thinker with an ability to generate innovative campaign ideas.
    • Familiarity with the African fintech landscape and regulatory environment is an advantage.
    • Experience with leading and developing teams, with a commitment to collaborative success.
