Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja for a Senior Manager. The Senior Manager will oversee and lead project teams, lead proposal writing, manage client relationships, and ensure the successful execution of consulting assignments. Responsibilities include strategic planning, providing expert guidance on agriculture and nutrition initiatives, monitoring project performance, and delivering high-quality reports and presentations. The role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders, representing the organization in networking events, driving innovation, participating at speaking events, and supporting the growth and development of Sahel Consulting’s portfolio and impact.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving
• Excellent communication, report-writing, and presentation skills
• Experience in market analysis, policy development, and consulting services
• Proficiency in research, data analysis, and generating actionable insights
• Deep knowledge of agriculture, nutrition, and sustainable development practices
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Business Administration, International Development, or related fields preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a senior management role with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Prior experience as a Senior Project Lead in a top consulting firm is highly preferred.
• Experience in the African agricultural sector and with development organizations is an advantage
• Ability to work onsite in Abuja and travel as required
