The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will play a key role in the design, costing, and execution of solar and power system projects.
This individual will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, from client requirements and feasibility assessments to system design, cost estimation, implementation, and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, costing, and execution of electrical and solar projects within budget and timeline.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets based on site assessments and design specifications.
Design and develop system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and component selections for solar, hybrid, and backup power systems.
Conduct feasibility studies, power audits, and performance simulations to guide design decisions.
Supervise installation, commissioning, and performance evaluation of power systems (Solar PV, UPS, Inverters, AVRs).
Troubleshoot and maintain installed systems, offering post-installation support and service-level management.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure cost-effective sourcing of components and equipment.
Maintain up-to-date inventory of tools, equipment, and PPE while enforcing health and safety practices.
Participate in the preparation of technical bid documents, implementation plans, and project schedules.
Host regular project meetings and report on timelines, risks, cost updates, and technical performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety codes, and internal quality benchmarks.
Qualifications & Requirements
HND / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in designing and implementing electrical and solar power systems
Strong knowledge of system design, electrical schematics, and cost estimation techniques
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, and AutoCAD
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Professional engineering membership is an added advantage.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
