• We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our hospitality company.
• This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and the unique financial needs of the hospitality industry.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting team, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and support business objectives.
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices in financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
