    Sales Manager of FMCG (e-commerce)

    About the job

    • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and E-Commerce to lead our sales operations.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and market share targets.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and market growth within the FMCG sector.
    • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed performance targets.
    • Manage distribution networks and ensure product availability across all channels (modern trade, general trade, and institutional sales).
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
    • Oversee pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and trade marketing activities in collaboration with the marketing team.
    • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, credit terms, and sales processes.
    • Drive territory expansion and optimize sales routes for maximum efficiency.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms with major clients and distributors.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
    • Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, trade marketing, and retail management.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/Sales Management tools.
    • Willingness to travel extensively as required.
