Sales and Distribution Manager (Auto Spare Parts) - Lagos at Nicole Sinclair Consulting

We are seeking to hire a Sales & Distribution Manager who will oversee the commercial and distribution lifecycle of our auto parts and lubricant portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring products are efficiently distributed across retail and wholesale channels, optimizing route-to-market operations, and driving sales growth. You will manage retail networks, warehouse coordination, and B2B/B2C channels, with a focus on high-turnover items like lubricants, filters, and tyres.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales targets for specialized product lines, including engine oils, transmission fluids, and fast-moving spare parts.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Plan and manage product distribution to ensure availability across all channels
• Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and retail partners.
• Monitor and optimize routes to market for efficiency and coverage.
• Track sales performance and distributor compliance with targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, and retailers.
• Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to prevent stock-outs and delays.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare reports on sales, distribution performance, and market feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and distribution, preferably in auto spare parts or FMCG products.
• Strong knowledge of route-to-market and channel management.
• Proven ability to drive sales and manage distributor networks.
