    Restaurant Manager

    Job Summary:

    • Creaniacs Talent Management is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lounge/Restaurant Manager on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the lounge/restaurant operations, ensuring a high-quality guest experience, managing staff, and optimizing revenue. You will work closely with the Executive Director for Operations to meet business objectives and maintain high standards of service and food quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day lounge/restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and service quality.
    • Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
    • Train, motivate, and lead staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, attract customers, and improve overall performance.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as local laws and licensing requirements.
    • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and specials that drive business.
    • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including daily sales reports, budgets, and inventory management.
    • Conduct regular reviews of menu offerings and make recommendations for updates based on customer feedback and trends.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing a lounge, restaurant, or similar establishment.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate staff.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and handle pressure.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
